Engine problem

I am having a very big problem with my car. Sometimes when I drive the car will start to have an erratic idle and when I slow down it will sometimes even stall. When it does this frequently I can tell that I am getting horrible gas mileage. No one can seem to figure out what is wrong. Oxygen and knock sensors, ERG valve, and fuel pump have been ruked out. I have heard that this problem could come because I need a new distributor. My distributor is leaking oil. Please help!
