1994 Nissan Altima timming chain

i wanted to know wat to do if someone is sell a 94 nissan for 650 and only says that the timming chain is put in worng and it is driveable. if so what els should i like the engine how do i check if it is good and the tranny how do i see if it is working besides if i drive it..[/quote:d9674d8d03] this sounds like a risky deal!! if you can put the car in drive and reverse and the car moves this means the tranny is good.the timming chain issue can be big problem.i would offer no more than 200 for this car and drive it till it dies!
