hello, i have a couple of questions concerning a repair that i need to make on my car. 1) is a knock sensor on this particular car difficult to replace. i understand that it is under the intake, just wondering on a scale of 1-10. ( i have done a timing belt on this car to give you an idea of my mechanical level) and 2) i have a pesky radiator fan that will not stop running. didnt start until i disconnected the harness to test the knock sensor. i had ignition off for this process so i dont know why it did that. thanks.

Why are you playing with the knock sensor is it a detonation problem, if you want I still got a lot more for you other than the knock sensor.

Note: when the computer senses that a spark knock is occurring it will retard the ignition timing

i went ahead and replaced plugs and wires and it cleaned up the problem. the radiator was the temp sender. now i have a problem with the A/C. front is blowing cold and all lines in engine compartment are cold. lines for back evap are not cold get hot right where the come out of the engine compartment and run down the undercarriage. I have just had the system charged by a shop and am taking it back. just wondering if you have some suggestions that would help the mechanic. they seem to be stuck and i have made 2 trips back for this problem. thanks.
