Interior problem
1993 Nissan 240SX Manual
So the other day my trunk wouldn't close. I looked at the latch and I think there is a spring missing.
I rigged some rope and tied a rubber band to the little knob that hangs down that is supposed to get pushed over to the right to latch the trunk shut then I closed it and pulled the rope to pull the latch shut manually. IT WORKED!
but. nevertheless. I would like to have a regularly functioning trunk.
Can you tell me 1. if it for sure is a spring that I need. 2. will any spring do or is there a specific one for this. and 3. Where can I get one?
