My friend's car vibrates terribly. He has changed the gas filter, spark plugs, oil, and spark plug wiring. The car still shakes and the first spark plug is still not working (he pulls it out and the engine still runs "like normal" but if he pulls another one out it does not). Do you have any suggestions on what to look for. It would really be appreciated.

Engine misfiring can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel
