Electrical problem
1991 Nissan 240SX 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
I turn the key and get nothing. Battery checks good and the cables are clean and tight at the battery, starter and ground. I have 12+ volts at the starter. Dash lights come on when the key is turned.

Probably your clutch safety switch is missing the gromet on the pedal so when you press the clutch it isnt flipping the switch... i taped a penny over the hole so i wouldnt have to worry about replacing a gromet after it wears out

Hey....i had the SAME problem one night...it doesnt turn over....and you can hear the relays when you attempt to turn over....i dont know if its the same problem i had...but i took the ignition switch outta the back of the lock cylinder....and you just turn the switch with a screw driver and it starts. Lemme know if that works for ya. If it is that then you'll need a new switch and or lock cylinder
