1990 Nissan 240SX Starting the car

I just put in a new battery. Before the new battery the car would not turn over or would the solenoid for the starter engage. Do i need a new coil or fuse? No dome lights or any power to the rest of the car. Whats up with the car?

I put in a new battery and the car worked for a day.... now im back to the no head lights or hazards or anything. I think there is a short in the head lights they are aftermarket lights. Um.... then the car wouldnt go out of park after being jumped with a new battery. The fuses are good.
