How to remove the newer style PCV valve?

How do I remove the PCV valve without breaking something? It has plastic tabs that go over the valve.

Hi,

The PCV valve should screw in and out of the valve cover. See pics below. Are you seeing something different?

This is what it looks like it doesn’t screw in it has really thick tabs that go over it looks like it will break easily.
