I just bought a 2015 Legacy and as soon as I drove on our dirt road we heard a rattle in the front driver's side wheel area. There isn't any noise when driving on asphalt. The noise goes away when I brake. The mechanics at the dealer say that they couldn't hear anything. A mechanic friend drove it, heard it, and thought it might be a brake caliper slide. I've waited twenty years to get a new car and it shouldn't have anything wrong with it. I drive at least 5 miles a day on dirt roads. Any help would be appreciated. Does it sound like a big (expensive) project?
Thanks for your help.
