I bought a new fuel pump and I hear it run at priming and turning the key but no fuel pumps out. I cut a hole in the floor disconnected the hose that goes to the filter and nothing comes out even though I hear and feel it running. Please help,

Good morning.

The fact that it is running and no fuel means either the pick up is clogged from debris in the tank or your new fuel pump is defective.

What brand pump did you use?

I am with Roy on this. The aftermarket fuel pumps for the Astro are junk. Most only last a year or two, and many are defective right out of the box. I have one right now that will not build enough pressure to start without priming it five or six times when it is hot.
