I have the Canadian edition of the Acura 3.5 RL which has a Mitsuba RC-2401 12V power relay in the engine room control unit (low beam cut relay in the diagram below). Sometimes it buzzes really loud or just quits working and my DRL light comes on in the dash. This results one or both of my headlights cutting out which could end up in disaster. It rarely happens although I would like to replace the unit before it fails for good. On the Acura parts website it does not even have the relay and the closest one to it is the RC-2223/5 which has a completely different diagram on the unit (starting bottom left and going clockwise: 3 5 2 1 instead of 3 4 2 1).
I have tried to order several parts at the local auto parts shop and every one that comes in has a differing wiring diagram on them than the one I need to replace. I was told by someone at the store not to buy either of them as when we compared the relays and their stamped diagrams he said it was completely different inside (I do not know the technical details). I have no idea where to get this part and all searches end up in replacement relays for the air conditioning and not the low beam cut off relay which I need.
Where can I get it?
