need location of expansion valve on a/c please

The mechanic he put on machine to recover & recharge. he say that the expansion valve need to be replaced immediately. He could not tell me where it was. So, i ask you to tell me so I know he is not dinking around. Sounds maybe like he wants to replace other items also.

Known as the expansion valve here and is attached to the cooler unit(evaporator) Procedures are as below.


REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION FOR EXPANSION VALVE

1. Discharge the refrigerant.
2. Disconnect the refrigerant lines from the cooler unit.
3. Remove the cooler grommet.
4. Remove the expansion valve.
Expansion valve mounting bolts Tightening torque: 2.9 - 5.0 N.m (0.29 - 0.51 kg-m, 26 -
44 in-lb)
