Has spark and fuel in rails but only cranks

gets spark and has fuel in rails with pressure, but all it will do is crank. The guy I got it off of said when he was driving it would act like it is not getting gas and stalls out. Then he would wait a while and it would start, but ran rough. It kept dying out until now it just cranks. i have a new ignition module and coil on it.
