Need Factory Radio Deck Out of Dash, Help!?

you need to pull off the center piece pictured the there will be screws or just a thin piece of metal on sides to slide it out.

I am thoroughly impressed by the quick response however I've already taken off the front dash but what my question is in regards to is how to remove completely the factory radio deck from the console of the car, AFTER I've broken the tabs on the side...? Can you assist me or help with some sort of guide?

if you take the two screws out that I've pointed out it should slide right out

I have already tried that and its just not sliding out. It honestly feels as though it is harnessed to something not allowing it to slide out. I can't seem to figure this out at all. Tons of cars I've done without problem whether broken tabs or not and this vehicle's console isn't clear on where I need to break connection from the radio deck and car.

Please any other suggestions???

see if there is a nut on a bracket int eh back normally they are like 10mm or8mm. some of the olderones have that

ALRIGHT so after agonizing hours put into this deck removal I finally got the whole thing out. Unfortunately I had to remove it in two parts as shown. My new deck is only a few inches off from the actual size and isn't fitting snug, so I think I'll have to purchase an aftermarket brace to replace the whole unit removed.

My whole experience with this Mazda deck hasn't been pleasant. All the screws removed, in the end, did not seem to be the reason why the deck WOULD NOT come out.

To anyone who runs into a similar problem and has to do surgery on their deck my advice is just pay to have it done, but if you're like me and are determined to DO IT YOURSELF then here's my tips:

1. Remove the side compartment so you can unclip both fan wires and hooks. This will free up your position when taking apart the front panel
2. When every connection attached to the front panel are disconnected play with the deck and wiggle. See if there is any room for pulling it out.

After this ordeal all I can say is that if the deck tabs are broken or removed there is a little back nob on the back of the deck unit as well as adhesive tape and this will keep the unit in place, but that's it.
