Just bought the car listed above Type S for $700.00. It runs great. Only problem, really, only one, is that the navigation screen doesn't come on. The temperature control below comes on, and the fans is set on high.I can't adjust the speed of the fan, as it looks like that is tied into the navigation, which doesn't come on.

Radio comes on as well. Just the navigation doesn't. Any advice? I thought I checked all the fuses, maybe I missed one.

Just checked the trunk, there is no 6 disc CD changer there. There is the spot for something, a metal bracket on the top of the trunk. I see 3 plugs there, but they aren't plugged into anything, as whatever is suppose to be there, isn't there.

Thanks!

Welcome to 2CarPros.

Power to the navigation system is supplied via fuse 10 in the under dash fuse box on the passenger side. I attached three pictures that you may find helpful. The first shows the fuse and where the power wire splices. The second shows where power is supplied to the navigation display and the last is the wire to the navigation unit. Note that the power to both comes from the fuse I mentioned. After the fuse there is a splice in the wire and power goes two different directions as indicated in the pictures.

Here are a few links you may find helpful when checking to see if the fuses is good, if there is power at the fuse, and if there is power going to the two components listed.

Thanks for the quick response.

Unfortunately, it’s not the fuse!
Replaced with other fuse and still doesn’t work.

I also replaced the navigation with another navigation, still doesn’t work, so it is a power/electrical issue.

Any other recommendations beyond the #10 fuse on passenger side?

Thanks!

Welcome back:

I agree. It is a power issue. Have you confirmed there is power at the fuse both in and out of the fuse? Also, have you checked to see if there is power to the system?

Let me know. At some point either you are losing power or have no ground.
