I have found an electrical connector under the hood that I do not know where it goes. It may be for some device not installed in the vehicle, but I am not sure.
I am enclosing 3 photos. One showing where the connector comes out of the harness.

Thanks,
Wayne

Sorry the pictures didn't make it, that can happen if they are very large or in an odd format. Please try again. Thank you.
As for the connector, there are likely a few of them tucked away as GM usually creates one harness that fits all of a certain model, then they just plug in the pieces needed. So say fog lights were an option, the wiring in the main harness will be there, but the sub harness for the lights will not be. On some it means they can be plug and play, on others you may need to add other parts and even program a module to turn them on. Depends on the item.

Would it be possible for you to open that loom and tell me what the wire colors are? I think it is a connector for the rear seat heating control but cannot see the wire colors. If they are a Gray with Black trace and a Black wire that is likely it. The question then is does yours have rear heat/AC?

Great guess. Black wire and grey wire with black tracer. No rear heat/AC.

Okay, that is for the rear heat selector then. I'd just coil and tie it out of the way. Glad we could help.
