Every time I turn the key over I get an extremely loud vibrating sound coming from the trunk.

Hi Ashton,
Besides the rear window wiper. Do you have any other options on the lift-gate? Like an automatic release latch or a lift gate lift? Basically are you able to push a button and release the rear hatch?
More than likely this is the wiper motor because I am not aware of any other components in the lift-gate itself. However, before you replace anything, you need to pull the trim panel off and identify for sure what it is.
I attached the procedure on how to remove the panel.
