Stereo screen will not show display

Factory stereo screen will not light up and has lines in it sometimes but other than that stereo works just fine. The other day when I started my car the screen came back on normally. Please help me fix it. Or is there a way to reset the stereo?

Hello,

It sounds like the LCD screen is going out which means you must replace the radio to fix the issue. here are diagrams below to help you with the repair. Some people install aftermarket unit as well. here is a video of the job being done on a similar car:
