Shifter seems to be stuck in drive

Have you checked the linkage between the shifter and the transmission? Also, I need to know if this is a floor shift or column shift transmission.
Let me know. Also, for some reason I don't have this model in my manual, but I'll try to help. Since it is in gear, I suspect either the shift interlock has jammed or there is a problem with the linkage (shift cable).
