shifter not going to Park

My shifter not going to P sometimes, same times get stuck on P some mechanics say I have to change the shift stick solenoid, this is true ?

Where I can find new?

he means the shift interlock solenoid needs replacement here is a diagram showing what he is talking about. Their is no adjustment to the shift cable

You can buy one for about $55.00 from the dealer.
