Intermittently loses speed while running

I am observing a strange problem with my vehicle listed above Magnum LT. These days, it loses speed/power while tunning and again picks speed and power in a few seconds. It happens with any gear, not specific to any gear as of now. It has already done 102,000 KMs in last 11 years and I had never ever faced this issue in past. Please advise what could be the problem. This is a diesel car.

Can you explain what is meant by "tunning"?

The idea that it loses power as you described can be the result of several things. Have you checked to make sure fuel pressure is within spec? Have you checked for engine vacuum leaks? Also, by chance do you ever hear a rattling coming from under the vehicle which could indicate the inside of a converter is loose and possibly causing restrictions?
