Can I install wiring from another vehicle without flashing VATS off of ECM

The engine my blew. I have access to all the wiring on the Z71 do I need to change it? Can I run the LS without flashing VATS off of ECM?

no if it had a 5.7 put another 5.7 in it as they are different engines and use different computers etc. the LS if not original in your car will take to much work to make it work. if vats is on try resetting security system especially if you disconnected battery. see picture.
