How can I unlock my car with only the key?

Hi,

When this happens, either the tumbler has failed or the linkage between the tumbler and latch assembly has broken or come disconnected.

When you try to open the lock, does the key turn and not unlock the door, or does it not turn at all? I ask because it will require two different methods for repair.

Let me know. Also, let me know if you have removed the inner door trim panel. That needs to be done in either case.

I attached a pic of the lock cylinder below. On the one end, there is a lock rod that attaches. It may have come disconnected.
