my car will not start

It was in the evening and I had to run to the store I had just gotten home, it was a very hot day, there was no problems before I had reached home. when i tried to start the car again it wouldn't start, it just had a rapid sound as if the battery needed a charge. I brought a new battery an starter , and brought a fuel pump relay. I later realize that the fuel pump was working because I could hear it priming when I turn the key. I then learned from YouTube about the pgm-fi main relay in hot weather and how it played a role in a lot of Acura and Honda problems. The fuel injector, and the eECU are not communicating either, just a guest. Hope you will help. Thanks !

Hi,

If the starting system is okay, you may have set Diagnostic Trouble Codes when the battery went dead or when the battery was replaced. The PCM will need to be reset and clear DTC's. Make sure the ignition key is out of the ignition and unhook the negative battery cable from the battery for ten minutes. When reinstalling the battery cable make sure the ignition key is out of the ignition and the connections are clean and tight. You will need to relearn Idle after clearing DTC's follow the procedure below. Let us know if this information was helpful or if you need more information.

Procedure:
Make sure all electrical items (A/C, audio, rear window defogger, lights, etc.,) are off.
Turn the ignition switch ON (II), and wait for 2 seconds.
Start the engine, and hold it at 3,000 rpm with no load (in Park or Neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, or until the engine coolant temperature reaches 194 °F
Let the engine idle for about 5 minutes with the throttle fully closed.
