My car will not go forward or reverse, code P1762

I was driving for about 15 minutes and as i approached a red light I noticed the car revving but losing power and all of the sudden it just stopped running. it wouldn't go in reverse nor in drive. And I plugged in a OBD2 and this code appear P1762 Direct Clutch Solenoid Valve. I don't understand what it exactly means though?

I attached the diagram for this code which will help explain what is happening. However, in a nut shell this is a solenoid that applies the direct clutch inside the transmission. When this does not operate properly it sets this code and you get the issue you are seeing.

Unfortunately we need perform this testing to find out what the cause is. It could be a wiring issue, the solenoid itself or possible a transmission control module issue.
