No crank no start issue

I’ve changed my fuel pump, and it still won’t start My mechanic told me that the only other problem he found was my ECM was bad I got that repaired at G7 computers! And it still didn’t work, when I went to crank it up it was doing the same thing not turning over one of my relays was hotter than the other I noticed when I was trying to start. how do I test my relays ? And do you think that would be the problem even after I was told they interchanged them to see if they was good? And was told they were.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Just a quick question first. When trying to start does the starter motor engage and spin the engine over and crank or does the engine not spin over and do nothing? If it is not spinning over I think you have a starter motor issue. Here are a few no start tutorials and how to test a relay:

Yes, it turns on like it’s cranking up. like makes the cranking sound like it’s trying to but doesn't turn on.

Hello again.

There are 2 things we need to check for. We need to see if you are getting spark and fuel. If you can remove a spark plug let's see if you are getting spark. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved:

You mentioned you replaced the fuel pump but I'd like you to perform a fuel pressure test to verify the fuel pressure. Here is a tutorial showing how to test fuel pressure:

The fuel pressure for your truck should be 38 PSI with engine idling or 47-50 PSI with engine idling with vacuum port on the fuel regulator disconnected. If you want to try spraying starter fluid into the throttle body and the truck starts that is an indication it's a fuel related problem. Let us know what you find and we'll go from there.
