running rough and hesitating

Took my car to a mechanic for oil change and flush cooling system.my car was running good no engine light on. I get my car back and engine is running rough and hesitating. what could have the mechanic done to mess my car up?

Do not assume the mechanic caused that problem. It sounds like it is misfiring, but needs to be tested further. The first step would be to have the computer scanned for stored codes and go from there.
