My car overheated recently and I replaced the radiator, fans, and thermostat but it overheated again

replaced all this stuff, yesterday car overheated again, lost all coolant. mechanic who towed it said he thought might be water pump because the bottom radiator hose was cold and the temperature only went hot when driven, not idling. Please tell me what you think.
