To me it sounds like the car is going into limp mode due to a dirty throttle bore which causes the computer to lose correlation with the throttle body causing the limp mode. Here is a guide to help fix the problem:

I've had it diagnised and the codes are P0171 (Fuel System Too Lean) now from here what should i do next. Your advice is greatly appreciated...

So having a fuel system too lean code can point to a few things.

If you have not had the fuel filter replaced then at the mileage of your vehicle i would advise this would be a required service item anyway so a good place to start.

Also checking for air/vacuum leaks is free and can highlight an issue quickly.

A vacuum leak would cause the issues you are having.

Good Day.

So I have taken your advice and i checked the MAF Sensor to my surprise it was very dirty. now i cleaned it and it's now taking off smoothly from any point, but now when i accelerate to gain speed it is jerking whenever the rev counter reaches 3.5 rpm and drops speed same time. what else should i check? there are also two Oxygen Sensors that i haven't checked could it be them? The engine check light is still on please assist me further..

Have you checked for vacuum leaks?
As in the guide i mentioned before.

Did you clean the MAF or the throttle body?

If cleaning the MAF has improved the issue try unplugging the MAF and driving, does that fix the issue?

Okay let me try it then i'll also check the throttle, but now i can't locate the throttle position clearly.
