My brakes do not work at all

Hi, my brakes went out i replaced the bad brake i was told my car has but there is still zero pressure and i bleed the lines when the line is open i have pressure. once i close it and let off the pedal and reapply pressure goes to the floor again. My vehicle has zero brakes right now i do not know if all my brakes are bad or what is going on? this is my first car, i would just really like some help on what i should do to regain brakes in the vehicle.

it sounds like air in system it may be in the abs unit which a mechanic will have to hook his scanner up to open valves on abs so it can get all air out. you can try renting a power bleeder and doing it that way may work.
