Air conditioner not blowing cold air

There was a leak in one of the hose sometimes ago, it was fixed and the gas was recharged. So it started blowing cold again, but what I notice is thermostat does not come on again since it was recharged, so the compressor works a lot. whenever the vehicle is over accelerated in a sudden, the compressor begins to squeal and the cold stop blowing and never recovers until the air conditioner is switched off and turned on again. Could it be the system has been over charged or undercharged? Thanks.
