have a 2019 Ford Escape. Since buying it in 2022, it’s been serviced 4 times due to a creaking noise. Told the dealership I felt like I was sliding on ice when driving when accelerating. He looked at me like I was crazy. It got so bad I could drive over 20 mph without drifting. This was in 2025 and I had to pull over and the guys at Advance Auto Parts came out and explained that the metal I felt when I stopped to check the tires was my tire belt.
Took it to a Ford dealer. They said they fixed the problem but it’s still making a creaking noise.
June 2023
-replaced rear sway bar link
July 2023
- replaced control arm (under parts it says Ball joint-front lower)
August 2024
-New break pads and rotors
-4 new tires
-Stabalizer Bar Control Link - parts it says Sway bar link front
April 2025
- 4 new tires
- Left front control arm - nuts bolts
- Bushing and cap
- 4 wheel alignment
July 2025
- attached is a picture of the bushing (at least I think that’s what this is. It’s all ripped up again)!!! This happened last time. My new breaks are still squealing after a year! They said it would take a few weeks for them to wear in.
I know nothing about cars (but I’m learning). Why is this creaking noise continuing to happen and why am I constantly replacing the same parts. Someone please help because these dealerships have taken thousands of dollars from me and this issue never gets fixed.
