I just installed a replacement multifunction switch in my Fusion. It will not cancel after a left turn at all but will cancel all day on a right. This is the 3rd switch from the same outfit. I have had to do this 3 times. The first two would act up periodically but overall worked good. This one is made by Rostra, a more expensive name. The first two were by a company by the name SHEE-MAR.

Did the old switch cancel? If so, I would get an OEM part, it seems like the aftermarket part is missing something. Also, when the part is out, turn the steering wheel and look to see if the cancelation tangs used to turn off the switch are still intact. Let me know, here is how the job is done so we can be on the same page. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

The original did cancel. I discovered the aftermarket white tab facing the steering column did not protrude out as much as the OEM. The one I ordered appears to have more of a protrudence.

I got it working this morning. I did left turn tests numerous times, but it will do great, then hang up. I plan to return it to RockAuto and get their OEM switch as you advised.
