I wanted to install a bolt-on muffler so needed to know what is the best brand which will give me a moderate Subaru sound and at the same time improve on the fuel economy?

Also by what percentage will my fuel economy increase by?

I've seen testimonials where an exhaust system upgrade from the catalytic converter back tothe tailpipe has increased fuel mileage about 3 MPG.

As far as the sound, it would be very hard for me to decide which muffler would sound best for you. Probably best to go to a couple of sites to listen to these mufflers on cars similar to yours.
