For 10 years I have gotten 37 MPG. Had the spark plugs replaced at 142,000 miles. I think he used Denso plugs. My MPG dropped to 32, then27, now fluctuating around 34. Is there something I can do to restore the MPG?

The spark plugs used are very important, the wrong spark plugs can cause the engine to have low power which affects the mileage. These are the spark plugs you should have.

Recommended spark plug FK16HR-A8 DENSO
Electrode gap 0.7 to 0.8 mm (0.0276 to 0.0315 in.)

If it does not have these spark plugs or gap change them out, also check the tire pressure, I like to run them at the max pressure on the side of the tire, you will get the best MPG when the tires roll easily under load.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

I Googled the spark plug and it said it did not fit my Camry. I don’t think it is tire pressure as it was a draft change after 10 years of getting 37MPG. I will research further. Thanks for the advice.

The information came from Alldata I am not sure which site gave you your information? The air pressure was just an additional tip, good luck.
