Moving off

When I pull of and put the car into second gear it stutters and slows down I have to go back down to first to move again sometimes while driving changing gears it stutters

The description of the problem does not give me much to go on. My assumption is that the probem originates from the engine and you should start with a check on the spark plugs and related components. One or more of the spark plugs cold be misfiring under load.
