Help! Going on vacation in 26 days and need to solve this issue asap! I have the vehicle listed above. I boughtt it back in October and the A/C was working. Winter came and found out the mode actuator wasn't working. My husband manually set it on defrost to get through the winter. We are now getting hot weather and going on vacation soon and are having trouble fixing it. We've replaced the actuator but it only moves through 1 full cycle and stops and the ac button flashes and then shuts off. What could the issue be?

I have seen the defective actuator cause this issue, or it is not calibrated completely. What brand part did you get? Here is how to calibrate the actuator so you can see if the apart is defective or not, check out the images (below). If this does not work you can try a full system reboot, this guide can show you how:

Please go over this guide and get back to us.
