my air does not bow out front vent.s we have a mode actuator but do not know where it goes and how to get there.

Hi,
The mode door actuator is located under the dash on the left side of the HVAC box.
If you look below, I attached the directions and pics for replacement specific to this vehicle. I am basing this on a manual temp control system. If the vehicle has automatic temp control, let me know.
The last two pics are the recalibration procedure. One way is with a scan tool and the other is without.

my 2007 Trailblazer is dual climate control you can set drivers side and passenger side is this manual or automatic.

That sounds like it is manual. Automatic functions like a thermostat in your house. You set a temperature and it maintains that temperature. Dual climate is on both designs.
