2003 Mitsubishi Outlander Two Wheel Drive Automatic 360000 miles

How common is it that a double-gasketed oil filter could last (not blow up or dramatically leak out) for about 30 days or 1400 miles?

Not likly, but if the old unremoved gasket is stuck on the block real good, I guess it could happen...
