weird smell

Everytime i get in my misubishi mirage 98 there is a weird smell like tupintine. it gets better after i drive. it is worse the longer it sits, but there is never any fluid below the car after it is parked any idea? I dont know for sure the engine size and the milage is about 80k

You sure you're not smelling the la puu/antifreeze from a leaky heater core.Also better check the radiator coolant level.
