My daughter has a 2000 Eclipse with less than 16000 miles. Normally, it accelerates and drives fine. Lately, it stumbles when being driven on the highway, between 30 and 40 MPH. Mostly, it's when you slow down and try to speed up again. But, it does'nt do this all of the time. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

hey ekenb,
When was the last time the vehicle was tuned up? It sounds like a ignition wire or plug is failing. Let us know!

Our 2001 Mirage is doing the same thing. We found if you turn off the heater fan, the stalling and hesitation stops. Very strange. Have no idea how the fan could affect the performance like that.
