i have a 97 mitsubishi eclipse that grinds when i shift from 1st - 2nd and 3rd -2nd @ mid-high RPMs. all the other gears are fine. does anyone know what might be the problem and will it hurt my trans/clutch to start in 2nd and/orgo from 1st -3rd @ high RPMs?
