I own a 94 Eclipse with a 1.8l "B" engine (auto trans). Recently, I took the car in to a national brand repair facility due to overheating. Turned out the head needed replacing.
Following the repair, the engine ran hotter than normal, and, within 150 miles, all oil was drained out of the crankcase. Subsequently the engine seized.
The shop takes no responsibility stating that they only worked on the top end. Is there anything they could have done which could have led to this problem?
