car reliable?

I am looking to get a Galant 2003. I live in Canada and Mitsubishi is not that "famous" here. How reliable is the car? I am looking for the 2.4 engine.

I have no good data on the 03 models but according to Consumer report it rates the 02 model as good but with a lower rating on the reliability verdict. That matches my experience as some of the failures are premature and parts hard to find and expensive.

My choice would be a Honda or Toyota although the Galant has a better ride. I hope this helps
