I have a 1999 Eclipse RS. The power windows stopped working. Also the blower motor for the air conditioner heater stopped. Is there a fuse that controls both? I cannot find a blown fuse inside the car or under the hood. Are these problems related and if so can you provide me with some options to fix them?

the window could be one or two problems , one would be the window motor itself , or the window switch , you can check for power in and out of the switch if your handy with a test light or volt meter , the same goes for the blower motor , check for power , usually the motor goes bad , if you need more help trying to diagnose it let us know this info is prelim to get you started , oh and they are not related always check the fuse first

Niether window works. I would not think both motors would go at once. Are the fuses for both inside the car or one of the large ones under the hood?

there is a relay on the relay block behind the left side of the dash , you should beable to find another relay under there to swap out with the window relay just look at the part numbers ,

are both window switches inop , right and left , you cant close or open the windows from either side
??

I looked at the fuse box and it looks like it has 2 relays in it. I do not see a 4"x4" box.

Never did find the relay box. However I did get at least the drivers side window to work. I think I will get another switch for it. Would a faulty switch on the drivers side prevent the passenger side window from working? Any advise on my blower motor. Can't believe it stopped too. Is there a relay for it? Cannot find a blown fuse.

well i hate to tell you but there is a relay box under the left side of the dash that has a blower relay in it and a fuse in teh fuse box , it looks like its close to the door and may be above the fuse panel , if you find it there will be four in there and as before if they all own the same part number try swapping them out and see what happens

we need to find you aa manual , i will check on that too

Well I think we hit a road block again. There is no relay block in my car. I took off the trim at the console and looked there too, thinking it might be closer to the middle but no relay.

well i can say this there is only a few things in the blower motor circuit , working backwards the blower motor itself , the blower motor resistor in the glove box on the left side has a 4 wire connector , the fan switch , a relay and a fuse , if you have no fan at all usually the blower motor the relay or the fuse is bad , if you have one or two speeds the resistor is bad , i cant figure out for the life of me why there is no relay box where it should be , i know there is one in the engine compartment , its gotta be somewhere there , my software may be wrong , i dont know
a quick test for the blower motor itself is to unplug it and run a hot wire from the battery to the blower to see if it works

I would guess it to be the relay since I cannot find a blown fuse, but no idea where that is.
