Car stopped and would not start again. Mechanic changed crankshaft sensor and timing belts. Still, engine turns over but no spark. Only way to get irratic spark is by touchig a wire to a wire that goes to the crankshaft sensor and to a ground on body. then, car will try to start and back fire and make a banging noise over and over but will not start. No engine light on and i cannot manually receive any reading from diagnostic connector nder dash by steering wheel and console by using a jumper wire. Could my PCM be bad and what would be the next check?
