I have a 1998 Mitsubishi eclipse RS, 2.0L non turbo.
I recently had a engine rebuild on it. they replaced pistol rings, reconed a cylinder, new water pump, and new cutch. now the problem is: when I start up my car from a cold start, I hear a knocking or rattling sound from the transmission for about 5-10mins. (during this time if I press the cutch the sound goes away). also sometimes from the cold start, I get a rough idling: my idling can drop as low as 200-300rpm for a min back and forward to normal during the cold start first 5-10min.
Any ideas what could be he problem??
