My name is Rickey and I have a 2001 eclipse spyder, 4 cylinder, and 68,999 mile on it.
Well I went to my car to start it up, it won’t crank. So I went under the hood and twisted the car Terminal connector. The crank right up. Well I was driving down the road and hit a red light, the slowly stop. So I put it in park and crank it back up, soon as I put it in drive it felt like it was going to cut off until I put my foot on the gas peddle. I change both the car Terminal connector. Still not acting right, I think this started when I recharge the battery a while back. It started acting like this when put the battery in the car after I recharge it, but it went away and I didn’t think anything of it. I just don’t know what to do, can you help me

Try this:

Set parking brake, start engine in "P" or "N" position.
Warm-up vehicle to normal operating temperature or until cooling fan cycles.

Allow vehicle to idle for one minute in "N" position. Select "D" and allow engine to idle for one minute.

Accelerate at normal throttle position (20-50%) until vehicle shifts into top gear.

Cruise at light to medium throttle.

Decelerate to a stop, allowing vehicle to downshift, and use brakes normally.

Process may be repeated as necessary.
