1995 Mitsubishi Diamante, 10,000 miles. Car came with a factory-installed alarm system, but I never received a remote door opener. The original key has been lost, have been using a duplicate made at a key center. The alarm system is now malfunctioning--when the car is locked upon exiting the vehicle (either by depressing the lock button on either driver/passenger console or by using the duplicate key to lock the doors from the outside), the alarm will go off within a few minutes--horn, lights, etc. at full blast. This occurs with it just sitting parked--no one has even approached the vehicle. This does not occur when the doors are locked while the vehicle is being driven. I have replaced the 15 amp fuse in the main fuse box labelled "doors" to no avail. Help!
