hello, im not sure if its my MAF sensor, but thats what they told me when a shop scanned my eclipse...

what happens is the following, when the maf sensor is plugged in my car would just shut down. its always under 1000 RPM, when its in neutral or at a stop the car shuts down, i have to be pressing the gas all the time otherwise it dies. once i unplugged the MAF sensor, the car never stopped on me again, but now its always at 2000 RPM, like if i would be pressing the gas pedal a little bit... do u know what could be wrong with the car?

thank you very much

Hey,
Looks like you inadvertently diagnosed the problem yourself! Your MAF is an important component and it will also cause the higher than normal idle issue when disconnected! Replace the MAF and get the codes cleared.
